Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Jon Green, the operator of Sub-Tracked. You must be at least 18 and able to enter this agreement to create or use an account. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

Sub-Tracked lets you manually record account-balance snapshots and recurring income or expense schedules, then calculates planning projections. It does not connect to banks, hold or move funds, execute payments, verify transactions, provide credit, or give financial, tax, legal or investment advice.

Projections depend entirely on your entries and calendar rules. They can be incomplete or wrong, especially when a balance is stale, a schedule changes, or a payment does not occur as expected. Check important decisions against your actual accounts and obtain professional advice where needed.

Sub-Tracked Plus adds daily forecast graphs, payday outlooks, what-if planning, shortfall and buffer alerts, yearly cost insights and annual bill planning. The subscription costs £2.99 per month or £29.99 per year, charged in GBP through Stripe. Review the final price and billing interval at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Yearly costs are projected scheduled expenses, not records of payments made. Annual bill reserves are manual planning records and do not move money or change your account balance. Contribution suggestions do not confirm affordability. Optional account alert emails require a verified email and can be disabled in each account’s Alert settings. They are checked daily, are not immediate, and must not be relied on as a guarantee against shortfalls.

Manage billing, invoices, payment details and cancellation from Profile & billing. Cancelling renewal preserves access through the paid period; payment failures or an expired subscription can suspend Plus features. Existing free tracking remains available. Contact hello@jongreen.dev for billing or refund questions; your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

Deleting your whole login identity immediately cancels Plus billing and ends access. Archiving a financial account does not cancel your subscription. What-if scenarios are temporary projections and do not make purchases or cancel subscriptions with any provider.

• Provide accurate account details, protect your sign-in method, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
• Enter only information you are entitled to use. Do not place passwords, bank credentials, card numbers, another person’s data, unlawful material, or special-category information in free-text names.
• Use the service only for lawful personal purposes. Do not probe, disrupt, overload, automate abusive requests, bypass access controls, or attempt to access another user’s records.

You keep rights in the information you enter. You grant the operator only the permission needed to host, process, back up, display and delete it to provide and secure the service. Use the JSON/CSV export before deleting an account or whenever you need your own copy.

The service may be changed, suspended, rate-limited or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid unnecessary interruption, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not promised. Material term changes will be posted with a new effective date before they apply.

You may stop using Sub-Tracked at any time. Normal financial deletion archives records for 90 days; permanent identity deletion from Profile & security removes live account data and cannot be undone. The operator may restrict or end access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or where continuing the service is not reasonably possible.

You are responsible for decisions made using your entries or projections and for keeping any export you need. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without promises beyond these terms and the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost financial opportunities, or losses caused by inaccurate/stale entries or events outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections or courts available where they live. Questions can be sent to hello@jongreen.dev.
